Catch a Student the Moment They Walk In
Put a note on a student's profile — “insurance renewal due this month”, “watch found at reception” — and tick Show at check-in. The note pops up on the staff screens the second that student checks into class.
- Stays visible until you press Actioned — or choose Keep it for their next visit.
- Optionally show the note to the student on the kiosk screen too.
- Notes live on the profile Notes tab with a Check-in note badge, so the whole team sees what is pending.
Tick Present. Done.
When the kiosk isn't enough — a busy grading night, a visiting instructor — the Attendance table starts with a Present checkbox. Tick to mark a student present, untick for absent, no dropdown needed. The status dropdown stays in sync and every change lands in the activity log.
Active-task gate
A student with an open task — an unsigned waiver, an unpaid item — is flagged at the kiosk. High or urgent tasks show a Please see administration panel and refuse the check-in; lower priorities show a reminder and let them through.
Lead trial-class limit
Cap how many trial classes a lead can attend. Past the limit the kiosk shows a friendly Please see reception message and the lead is flagged red on the roster.
Only eligible classes
The kiosk's Today's Classes list applies the same program, group and rank rules as check-in itself, so students never see classes they can't join.
Consecutive-absence alerts
Measured in weeks since last attendance, so students in programs with different class counts are treated fairly.
